Twin Fawn Cottage is a privately situated cottage nestled within a small pasture with over 1000 feet of untouched shorefront. The oceanfront is accessed by about a 1 mile trail leading through a large forested parcel - perhaps a 20 minute trek to the shoreline. Centrally located, Twin Fawn Cottage is approximately a five minute drive to downtown Stonington or the village of Deer Isle.

The interior of Twin Fawn has remained little touched - retaining its old charm and creaky wooden floors. The kitchen still retains the original cabinets and slate sink, warmed by the small woodstove ready to relieve the morning and evening chill. A living room, dining room and play room for the children allow nice space to spread out. The laundry room/mud room is a nice plus!!!

Upstairs are 3/4 bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. A shared wall between two of the bedrooms has been opened up, with two sets of large bunk beds, each with full bed on the bottom, and twin on the top. Two more bedrooms with queen beds culminate to provide ample sleeping options.

Twin Fawn is perfect for guests looking for a charming home, yet at affordable pricing. Don't be surprised to find a few spots of peeling paint or loosened wallpaper. Yet trust that Twin Fawn is well cleaned and fully functional - and offers a warm and cozy feel.
