Gray Cottage is a delightful 3 bedroom rustic cottage, sitting at the waters edge, overlooking Union Bay and across to the hills of Acadia.  Situated just over the town line of Blue Hill, it rest in the quaint community of Brooklin.  This wonderful location makes it perfect for enjoying both coastal villages of Blue Hill and Brooklin.  While its central location permits easy access to enjoy the wide ranging activities of the entire Blue Hill Peninsula, Deer Isle/Stonington, and short day trips over to Acadia and Bar Harbor, it might be hard to abandon such a peaceful setting.  Nestled between a mix of rocky shore and beachfront to the east, and acres of pasture and forest to the west, it will be temping to never want to leave the idyllic seaside paradise.  

A long winding lane takes you through acres pf pasture to this special cottage.  As you step up on the back covered porch, you’ll immediately know where you’ll be spending much of your time, relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, overlooking the nearby shorefront.  Next you’ll enter the cottage through the spacious living/dining area.  When needed, the brick fireplace will cast its warmth up to the beamed/gabled ceilings, and in to the three bedrooms and vintage kitchen branching off this main room.  Games, puzzles, books and an upright piano offer indoor entertainment, while the mix of rocky shorefront, beaches, pasture and forest beacon exploration.  The rustic, casual, peaceful and scenic nature of Gray Cottage makes it a fully relaxing experience.
