Beech Hill Cabin
Vacation Rental on Beautiful Deer Isle
June 9 - 23 Special of $525/week!!!
Beech Hill Cabin is situated in a private wooded setting off of
Kings Row, one of the older streets in the town of Deer Isle. Graced
with beautiful turn-of-the-century homes, fields of lupine and lush
forest, the street meanders through a beautiful country setting to
this sweet, rustic cabin.
Its semi-close proximity to town provides a pleasurable walk to the Deer
Isle town center and its scenic shorefront, or a leisurely bike ride
takes you to the pristine waters of nearby Lily Pond.
Originally built by Bill Henderson, publisher and founder of The
Pushcart Press and writer of such works as The Kid That Could
and His Son, His Father, he fondly mentions this cabin in his
Tower: Faith, Vertigo, and Amateur Construction. True to his
admission of "Amateur Construction," guests will enjoy the home-made
quality and unpretentiousness of this simple, yet charming abode.
